Well folks the results are in and if Super Tuesday’s is any indication, it certainly looks like presidential hopefuls Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will be squaring off in the November election. Of course it’s still early and there are plenty more primaries ahead but the way things are shaping up it would take a miracle to keep Clinton and Trump out of the presidential race.
Hillary has long been the top pick to represent the Democrats, but Donald Trump the Republican nominee? Who woulda thunk it? Whether the GOP likes it or not, the Donald is their man. He may not be the best thing for the GOP or the country, but right now the Don’s game is the only game in town for angry Republicans who are tired of the same old bullshit. I’ve read that Trump is the exact Republican candidate the Democrats want facing Hillary in the election, calling it an easy victory for Hillary. But I wouldn’t be so sure. There are plenty of Democrats out there who are equally feed up with the BS and it wouldn’t surprise me if those disgruntled Demos don’t cross party loyalties and vote for the Trump in November. In our last several elections many of us have been forced to vote for the lessor of two evils, but what do we do when they’re both equally evil? Take a chance and go with Trump? What a fine mess that would be.
Yep, President Trump. Are you ready for that? Well you’d better be. What we all thought was nothing more than a misguided joke when Trump announced his candidacy back in June of 2015 with a pledge to make America great again is becoming a reality. No one gave him a ghost of a chance yet here he is knocking on the door of the presidency. Stranger things have happened. Besides, this is America, the land of opportunity, where dreams come true and if a young black child can grow up to become president of the United States why not a loud mouthed, white kid with funny hair.
