John, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Today was full of unexpected events: Baby Janessa sick w/a fever;get a call that my brother-in-law Ted has been found dead. Aunt Grace died last week; her funeral is tomorrow. My heart goes out to dad who within 9 days has lost his youngest sister (68) and his youngest son (49). Please keep him and the family in your prayers..
I just got off the phone with my mom and Susie. They told me about Teddy. I am so sorry – It must be terrible to suffer the loss of both your aunt and your brother in such a short period of time. Please let me know how you, your family and especially your dad are doing. The last time I saw your dad he looked so frail and I am concerned about how these sad events have affected all of you. Just wanted to let you know that we saw the article in the SG Tribune on line as well. Our prayers are with you.
This is so sad – please accept our condolences.

I was so sorry to hear about Teddy’s passing. I pray for God’s peace as he is merciful and his grace gives us the peace that passes all understanding during these times of loss. May good memories of him comfort you also.

John, I heard about your brother this morning. I don’t quite know what to say, because I’d never met him, but I’m very sorry for the loss. I check in on your blog every once in awhile so I understand that you two had a complicated relationship, but I’m sure it’s not easy to take. I’m here for you in any way I can be.
Hi John, I got the news last night. What a tragedy! I am so sorry. I know you all tried so hard to get him to wake up and realize what he was doing to himself, you all did your best and had only the best intentions. You can only do so much sometimes and that is the hardest part to deal with. I hope your Dad is doing OK as I also understand his sister just passed as well. Please give your Dad my condolences.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless,

There are no words to describe how touched I am by your love for your brother and how difficult life has been throughout the years. Tough love is always the hardest to handle. We believe we could of done it different or better, but there’s no way to do enough for the ones we love. All we can do is understand what they’re challenged with and be there when they’re ready to get help. You did the best you could as a loving brother should
